Looking for a Shepherd
Posted on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 by
Last night we talked about God wanting to be our shepherd. One of the Polish pastors shared with us before we went into our small groups and led our discussions. It was fun to see kids starting to ask deeper and tougher questions about God and His desire to have a relationship with us. God is beginning to break down the language barriers and other obstacles that are in the way of building relationships. It is fun to see how God is using each team member to impact people at the camp.
This morning some of our team got to go to a quiet time on the beach by the Baltic Sea. What a gift it is every morning to spend time in God’s word as we pour out ourselves each day. Here are some of the highlights so far:
Watching our team connect and push through the communication issues
Our team caring for each other
A few of the kids who have “special needs” - seeing them engaged and lifting their hands in worship is a powerful reminder of what God is up to.
the deep conversations we are beginning to have in our small groups!
Thanks for the continued prayers. Today looks like it is going to be a great day. Pray for God to be present in each an every activity of the day.
